What is the mission of New Leaf?
New Leaf Kitchen provides job training in the food services industry for women with barriers to traditional employment. As a program of Transitions our goal is to end poverty and homelessness for women and children in Spokane.
What is Transitions?
Transitions is a 501 (c) (3) organization registered with the state of Washington. The mission of Transitions is to end poverty and homelessness for women and children in Spokane. To carry out this mission, Transitions operates the Women's Hearth, Transitional Living Center, EduCare, Miryam's House, New Leaf Kitchen & Café, and Home Yard Cottages.
How can I enroll in one of New Leaf's training programs?

Do you take custom orders for items not on your regular menu?
This depends on our kitchen capacity and availability. If you have a special request, please get in touch and we'll let you know if we can make it work.
Do you provide on-site, full-service catering?
Please take a look at our catering menu if you are interested in having us provide food for your event. We are able to offer food and drink, utensils, and delivery during our normal business hours. However, we do not offer waitstaff services.
